From the Principal’s desk

P& C Meeting

The next P&C meeting will be held on Monday 10th September at 2pm. All are welcome so come along and have your say. I will be talking about the revised School Discipline Policy and the new School’s Anti-Racism Policy.

Friday Night Raffles

The next P&C Friday night raffle will be held on Friday September 7th. Each family in the Nymboida area will receive a flyer in the mail. Meals will be served from 5:30pm.

Small Schools Big Impact Concert

The Small School’s Big Impact Concert will be held this year at South Grafton High School Hall on Wednesday evening September 12th. Most Clarence Small Schools will be presenting an item. We will be performing the dance ‘Blame It On The Boogie’. Transport to and from the venue will by private car and we are encouraging as many family members to come along and enjoy the concert. Could you please fill in the attached sheet to indicate if you are coming.

We urgently require helpers for the canteen, if you can help please contact the school by this Friday.

Maths Activities Working Bee

We require helpers for a working bee to make and organise Maths activities on Friday 7th September. Please note the change of day and date.  Lunch and Morning Tea will be provided. We need as many helpers as we can get.

Priority School Funding for 2009

I have included a brochure about the Priority Schools Programs Survey for 2008. Please read it and ring if you have any Questions.

Crazy Hair Day

On Thursday 20th September the school will be having a crazy hair and out of uniform day to raise money for the Years 3-6 excursion. A note is included with this newsletter.

The school web page is now up to date and completed. If you have time please have a look. The new feature is the Kid’s Blog.

School Garden

HELP !!!!!We urgently need gardeners for our school garden. If you can spare an hour or two a week it would be greatly appreciated.

Active After School Communities

Active After Schools Communities concludes today.  The bus will run to normal times for the next three weeks until the end of term.
